The more I think about the right solution for this the more I think a could/web app would give the most benefit. Doing it that way would potentially kill several birds with 1 stone.

1) Providing a way to to do bulk data entry / modification
2) Providing export/print of information
3) Providing a non device specific portal that would be used via other smart phones and devices
4) Providing ability to sync secondshootr iPhone app with the "cloud". This would be especially handy and better than a desktop app because if your phone got lost or damaged on location you could potentially use any internet connected device (another smartphone, a laptop, etc) to get access to your secondshootr data. This could be a huge save!

Many of those are top contenders in the Improvement Ideas list right now!

PS, this could also be an easier way to implement the 'export' / 'backup' requests too. I am guessing it would be simpler to create some kind of PDF export feature in a desktop app than the iPhone plus just by having a desktop copy you would have a backup outside if the iphone / ipod that would be used in case of emergency in case you lose/break your hand held device which happened to me recently ( right after I bought Second Shootr :D )

Agreed all around. This would also make it easier (if designed right) to add pictures to the "Photos" list. Right now it's kind of tedious (like all other entries I guess). Everything would be faster and easier with this. You could probably even copy and paste most information that you already have.

@SecondShootr If it adds any extra incentive to get this made you could even charge a small amount of money for the desktop version. Typically these are free and I would love to see that but if it means the difference between the desktop app getting made and not getting made then I'd be willing to pay for it.
